Art & Music

In my family three things run strong: art, music, and engineering. God gave me a big dose of the first two. I gladly left thermodynamics to my sisters and cousins. I’ve been drawing, painting and composing since I was young. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2005 with a major in Fine Arts and a minor in Music Ministry. The daunting task of making it as an artist led me to find additional careers as an art teacher and eventually a Speech-Language Pathologist. Over the last five years I’ve had the joy of creating commissioned artwork for friends, family, and clients. It has been a joy to try new things, see what inspires others, and be a part of someone’s life journey. My music has sat neglected for far too long and I am eager to get it out in the world. A light under a basket helps no one. It is my greatest hope that my music and art can touch lives and inspire others to do the same.
